The first stage in a child’s life is the infancy stage where you will be lucky if you get three hours of solid sleep. When they are toddlers, you are bound to get a little more than three hours unless they come to wake you up. Sleeping patterns become regular when you child is independent and more or less going to kindergarten.
How you feed your baby will determine your sleeping patterns when they are infants. While the decision to breast feed is personal, it has a few benefits to it. You get to burn more calories and baby fat when you breastfeed. Important nutrient content is also passed on to babies when you breast fed. A babys immunity is strengthened when they breast feed. Breastfeeding time is also a bonding time between a mother and her child.

At the age of two years old, your child is all grown up and can walk about. The toddler stage is also marked with the transition from the crib to the bed. This stage has a mixture of emotions that a mother cannot express. Most parents usually sleep with their kids so that they fall asleep and then do the famous tip toe back to their bedroom.
Brave kids go looking for their parents while the less brave ones call out for their parents in the middle of the night but you are guaranteed more than three hours of sleep.
